Music Ministry

2 Chronicles 5:13-14
Indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever," that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, So that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

The Music Department exist to lift up and glorify God through music, and use music as an instrument to lead church into worship. Each member of the Worship Team (consisting of leader, singers and musicians) should strive to be consumed with a passion for God; focus primarily on the character and works of God, rather than on performing; offer skill and talent to God as a sacrifice of praise; worship spontaneously and from the heart; be prepared, but be sensitive to what God wants to do; yield completely to God's will for each service; and spend time daily in prayer for God to anoint as music is presented to the church.
